It’s been a while since I last sewed or blogged, but it’s the summer holidays so I have a lot more free time. Hopefully, I’ll spend part of this time sewing!
I’ve got soooo many projects that I want to make over the next 5 or 6 weeks! I thought that maybe if I wrote a blog post, it might inspire me to get cracking on them! Some of these have been on my to-do list for a while!
Here are my plans in no particular order…
Sew Over It – Ultimate trousers in black and white stretch cotton. I’ve had this to make for a couple of years now! I’ve also bought the online class so I plan on completing it this summer!
Rosy Pena Patterns – Chloe Sweatshirt in mustard sweatshirt fabric. I LOVE this pattern!! This will be the third one I’ve made and I plan on making several more in time for winter!
Sew Over It – Molly Top in black and white stripe jersey. I’ve made the Molly dress before and now I want a top. This should be a quick make. I’m thinking of squaring off the hem to make it easier.
Sew Over It – Ultimate Shift dress in green floral/leopard crepe. I’ve had this fabric for ages and I love it. I couldn’t decide what to make with it but think I’m going to try the shift dress!
Nina Lee – Portobello Trousers in stripy crepe. This is another project I’ve been planning for ages. It’s also on my make nine for this year!
Deer and Doe -Myosotis Dress in white crepe. I’m totally ripping off Fiona Parker’s (from Diary of a Chainstitcher) version. She made the most beautiful white crepe dress and I want one exactly the same!
Sew Over It – Eve dress in floral stretch crepe. Another plan I’ve had for a while. I love this dress so much I’m almost scared to make it in case it goes wrong! This another of my make nine plans as well!
Sew Over It – Libby Shirt in floral crepe. I saw this fabric and loved it. Then I saw this shirt pattern and loved it. The only problem is I still can’t do buttonholes, which is a shame because I’m most excited about this!
Megan Nielsen – Acacia knickers in any scraps! I need new knickers so I thought I’d use this pattern for any jersey scraps I have!
I also want to complete my Cocoon coat as well. It just needs hemming and the cuffs finishing.
These are my main plans but as usual, I have lots more things in my head but I don’t have fabric for yet. I’ve told myself, if I can make a dent in these plans then I’m allowed to buy more fabric!
