I’ve been keeping up with wearing me mades for a second week, however, I haven’t been as good at photographing it! Especially, when I’ve been working from home and wearing loungewear for most of the week!
Here’s what I wore for week 2.
8th May – Tilly & the Buttons Safiya Trousers
I was at work today so needed to dress myself properly! It was quite warm so I didn’t want to wear jeans but didn’t fancy wearing a dress or skirt. The Safiya trousers were the perfect option. They are loose and cool, perfect for warmer weather.
9th May – Tilly & the Buttons Jessa Shorts
It was beautiful weather today so I cracked my Jessa shorts out. Perfect for summer. I made these for my holiday last year and really enjoyed sewing them. Definitely need to make more at some point.
10th, 11th, 12th May – Paper Theory Miller Trousers
These are hot off the sewing machine. If you read my blog, you will know that I have been talking about making these for ages and I finally have. I made them in a grey lightweight French terry. They are mainly designed for wovens but can be made in a stable knit and it makes them the comfiest loungewear trousers ever.
13th May – French Navy Stellan Tee
Another working from home day so I was very casual. I wore one of my favourite Tshirts, the Stellan tee. This pattern is FREE and is a great boxy, oversize tshirt. I love oversize clothes so is perfect!
14th May – Deer & Doe Sirocco Jumpsuit
In all honesty, I only got dressed for a few hours as I had a work video call happening. I wanted to look dressed but still be comfy and the Sirocco jumpsuit is perfect! As it’s made from jersey its super comfy so it feels like you’re wearing a onesie!
My take aways from this week are: I still love Tilly’s patterns but I have ventured into other makes a bit more… I need to get dressed properly more… I still need more smart clothes (especially trousers that do not have elasticated waistbands!)
